A countless number of times we claim that motivation doesn’t last and inspiration fades out. Have you ever experienced a situation realizing if you had put just a little extra amount of motivation, you could perform better? Do you ever get so charged up, motivated and inspired and in a few days, there’s a sudden drop of enthusiasm? Have you ever felt pumped and motivated about a particular goal and within a few days, you slide into same old patterns? If yes, stick around for the next 2 minutes, because the value shared below is just for you!
If you ask about my current level of inspiration, I would rate it a hundred out of ten. That’s right, I am exploding with energy. As I sit listening to music, I decide to share with you a few secrets to uncontainable motivation [You are going to love number 6 and 7!] 😉
HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED AND INSPIRED: 7 DAILY HABITS
#1. TAKE CONTROL OVER YOUR EMOTIONS:
I try to bring the maximum amount of value to you, and so I prefer to research the blog topic before finally sharing it with you. Just like every time, I sat reading articles and watching videos and here’s a factor which nobody talks about: emotions.
“The underlying factor behind changing your mindset and shifting your perspective is mastery of your emotions.” -Aditya
Of all what consumes our mind, the mightiest of all is the countless emotions responsible for human behavior. The factor behind the feeling of being intensely inspired and completely charged up is mere emotions. While, at the same time, the factor behind the enthusiasm dropdown that we experience from time to time is also emotions. Take control over these varieties of emotions before they take control over the degrees of your motivation.

#2. SHIFT YOUR PERSPECTIVE:
When motivated and pumped up, it’s your mind that is charged up – not your will and spirit. Often times, the major reason why we lose our drive and hunger over time is that we operate from a mental level rather than from an intellectual level. The mental level is where emotions reside and again, nothing’s deceptive as much as emotions when it comes to inspiration.
In order to enhance the motivation and redouble the inspiration, consume and operate on an intellectual level rather than emotional level. Click To Tweet
#3. CONSUME A DAILY DOSE:
As the famous quote from Zig Ziggler goes:
“People often say motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.”
When sick, for a regular course of time, we consume drugs prescribed by the doctor. What’s wrong in consuming motivational pills for yourself on a regular basis? I put out content on a daily basis on social media, if you’d like, join the army on my instagram and facebook!
#4. DON’T BE TOO WORK ORIENTED:
Have you ever pushed yourself through extra hours and experienced your brain push back? It generally happens with me which I’ve been lately realizing – I try too hard to write more and more. I end up in a place where my mind just can’t find the right words.
Scientific evidence suggests that downtime is equally important and essential for your brain to function efficiently. With your mind focused only on goals and a constant work-grind-hustle mindset, you are sure to end up in an exhausted mental space, which brings me to the next point.

#5. WATCH YOUR PATTERNS:
There’s no clarity in the chaos, no motivation in disorganization. Click To Tweet
As a small business advisor, Marla Tanaka suggested: “nothing zaps my energy more than an overstimulated, cluttered mind.”
To remain in an inspired mental space and to stay consistent with the motivation, it’s essential for you to look for the patterns and habits that drain your energy and leak your inner fire. Look out for activities that take away your zest and turns off the inspired mind.
#6. LIBERATE YOURSELF FROM THE ILLUSION OF MOTIVATION:
Motivation is the willingness to do something and put your efforts into action. If the level of human motivation was to be depicted in a graphical representation, it would have countless highs and lows. For an infinite number of times, this question crosses our minds: how do I maintain a graph of constant motivation? The answer is, you can’t! The only time when you have a constant graph is when your heart stops beating.
Instead of being trapped in the illusion of being always inspired, embrace the lows. I invite you to think about inspirational dropdowns as opportunities to rest and refuel your inner reservoir. A lion doesn’t mind waiting and resting before it’s time for him to attack.
#7. UNDERSTAND THE MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL CORRELATION:

The feeling of being charged up and motivated is mental while the feeling of being exhausted and burned out is emotional. A good correlation between both is essential for effective execution.
To be motivated is to have the will to do something and put your ideas and plans into action. Now, come to think about this situation where you are mentally pumped up but physically drained and emotionally exhausted. If you are like me, at that point, you relate being emotionally exhausted to not having sufficient motivation. And hence end up feeding your mind more motivation – which only causes even more imbalance between emotional and mental correlation.
Do yourself a favor and next time you feel exhausted, make some popcorns and allow yourself to have some Netflix time 😉

BONUS POINT #8: MEDITATE
Ask me about any problem and meditation is surely going to be one of the best remedies to them. The human mind is at the peak of being phenomenally unproductive when cluttered with thoughts, ideas, and emotions. If you are like me, you feel tempted to believe the idea that motivation comes when you feed your brain with loads of information. And that idea is absolutely false.
We have been told that mind is just like a muscle, the more we exercise, the better it becomes. What we aren’t told is the fact that this muscle also requires rest time to improvise its performance.
Doing nothing while also being aware of it is the key point here. And that’s the purpose of meditating. Try out free meditation apps available – Headspace, Insight Timer are few of them.
I hope the value I shared was helpful to you. I will leave you sharing with you an infographic summing up the entire blog. If you found this post helpful, please share it with your closed ones and wish them tremendous inspiration!
When Gary Vee was asked on how to stay motivated, in mere three words he simplified it all – “YOU’RE GONNA DIE”. A survey shows that the probability of you being born was one in 4 trillion. You are nothing less than a miracle on this planet. What else do you need to motivate you? When out of motivation, use this insight as a reminder. Be great. Be awesome.
